Free Printable – Don’t Give Up Word Art

Continuing my series of free printable word art: “You can achieve anything you want as long as you don’t give up”. Just like the others in the series, this quote is true for golf and true for life. If you endeavor to never give up on a goal, the question is not if it will happen, but when it will happen

Free Printable – Accept Where You Are Word Art

Here’s another entry from my “Ways golf parallels life” word art series.  Playing golf can teach you so much about life and instill some outstanding character traits in young people who learn to play the game.                                               Anyone who has played a bit of golf has most likely gotten themselves into some trouble at some point … in the trees or a deep bunker. We sometimes have the thinking that if we could just hit this hail Mary shot we would be back on track, forgetting that the shot may be 1 in 50 even for a player way better than ourselves.

Golf & Life – The More You Put Into It, the More You Get Out Of It.

This applies to golf, to life and to most anything. Time invested in golf or any other sport or activity will pay you back in dividends. The more wisely you can invest that time, the greater your returns.

Gary Player: Health Ambassador to the World

When most people hear the name Gary Player, they will most likely recall the legend’s golf career – 24 PGA tour victories, 9 of which were major tournaments! Only three other golfers have won more major tournaments than Player (Walter Hagen, Tiger Woods  and Jack Nicklaus). Player’s ratio of Majors to other tournament wins might be a record, though? The Johannesburg-born golfer had a professional career spanning an incredible 43 years, from turning professional aged 17 to his last victory in the US at age 60.
